Grid110's team includes established and connected leaders across entrepreneurship, venture capital, community development, product, education, and social impact. We support a diverse community of startups and entrepreneurs through free access to programs, community and critical resources. Our mission is to make the entrepreneurial path more equitable, inclusive, and accessible. We have supported 300+ companies through our programs (70% women founders, 77% founders of color) across a variety of different business verticals and stages.
The Marketing Lead at Grid110 is responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s brand presence, overall messaging, and industry awareness. This role ensures that Grid110’s mission, programs, and impact are effectively communicated to founders, funders, partners, and the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem. With a strong focus on content creation, community engagement, and brand positioning, this role plays a critical part in expanding Grid110’s reach, amplifying its founders and community, and supporting its fundraising efforts.
The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic communicator with experience in marketing, content creation, and brand storytelling. Experience working with founders and early-stage startups is a huge plus. This individual should be highly organized, skilled in brand storytelling, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and proficient in Canva, Mailchimp, Notion, Airtable, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Threads, YouTube) and social media management tools is essential.

Responsibilities:
Marketing & Brand Strategy (40%)
Develop and execute content strategies across all social media, newsletters, and our website to highlight Grid110’s impact, programming, and founder success stories.
Design graphics and marketing collateral for all external and internal communications, ensuring a compelling, authentic voice and consistent brand presence.
Track and analyze key marketing performance metrics to refine strategy and improve engagement.
Community Engagement & Social Media (30%)
Manage and grow Grid110’s presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Threads, and YouTube.
Draft compelling copy for social media, internal Slack announcements, website updates, and email newsletters including updates for different audiences including alumni, partners, funders, mentors, and extended community, ensuring a strong and cohesive brand voice.
Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies to increase reach and engagement.
Actively engage with Grid110’s online community by responding to comments, messages, and relevant industry conversations.
Program & Event Marketing (30%)
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote program applications and event attendance.
Lead marketing efforts for key program milestones, including cohort selection announcements, in-program updates, and wrap-ups.
Collaborate with ecosystem partners for cross-promotion of events and initiatives.
Support partnership development and donor engagement initiatives as it relates to the fundraising campaign.
Support PR and media outreach efforts to increase visibility of Grid110’s work.
